Generations United’s Seniors4Kids raises the voices of adults age 50 and older in support of policies affecting children and youth. Currently, we work with community leaders and grassroots volunteers to increase the availability of quality early care and education programs. Our statewide volunteer networks are active in Colorado, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Seniors4Kids serves as a resource to the media about older adult support for children’s issues. We can provide research, experts and personal stories highlighting children’s champions age 50 and older. Seniors4Kids advocates have appeared in The New York Times, Stars and Stripes, the Chronicle of Philanthropy and Life After 50, as well as countless other national and local media outlets.
